Club Meetings and Events for 2010

March 16        Class Registration 8:30A, Meeting 9:30A,
                      Speaker 10:15 AM - Dr. Sink from GrandPaws Animal Clinic
                      will be discussing Valley Fever and will be taking your
                      questions.

March 13        50th Anniversary Parade.  The parade leaves Bell Rec Center
                      at 10am.  If you would like to help designing or decorating
                      the BFDC float, please email lsniderman@cox.net.

March 27        Fairway Fun Day Open House 9am - 3pm.  Join in the fun.
                      See all of the club offerings and come watch our drill team
                      and agility dogs perform from 10:30 - noon.

April 9           Bark in the Park Picnic, Off Premises - Details coming soon.

April 20         Coffee 9:00A, Meeting 9:30A, 10:15A-  Newfy water test
                      and Pizza party afterward.

Spring 2010 Class Training Schedule-Not Final
NOTE: Please attend the March 16th General meeting to get the final training schedule as some of the class times and dates may have to be changed.
   
Prerequisite - Handler and dog must complete Beginning and Intermediate Obedience before advancing to other classes offered.  The skills obtained in these classes will be required for rally or agility since off lead work will be a necessity. Dogs must be at least 6 months old with proof of current rabies vaccine and Maricopa County or other state current license tag.  All handlers must have current RCSC Rec Card and be a Best Friends Dog Club Member.

AVAILABLE CLASSES

PUPPY TRAINING CLASS WITH SHARON HOWARTH -
MONDAY      March 22nd           12:15 – 12:45 PM – minimum 10 weeks old and less than 6
                                                                                months old

Puppies shall be between 10 weeks and 6 months of age and have the two sets of required shots.  Owners must bring their current Rec Center Card and a copy of the vet bill showing the puppy has completed the shots prior to the first class.  Cost is $30.00 for six consecutive Monday classes and owners shall become members of Best Friends Dog Club for a fee of $5.00.  For more information call Pat at 623-583-0891.
